I have to say I watched a very disappointing game yesterday. Even wearing my purple and yelling at the tv screen didn’t help the Ravens win. Although many are there to blame Cundiff, it is a team sport! We had fourth down with only minutes to go and we make a call to go for it instead of the easy 3 points to tie it?? WHY?
Then with only seconds left, Evans couldn’t hold onto that winning touchdown; however, Cundiff gets blamed for missing that fieldgoal to TIE with only a couple seconds left. (I must say, there is no excuse for a professional to miss that easy kick and we should find a new kicker next season – his record isn’t good enough to be a Raven) but we have to know that many other individuals could have helped to get the score prior to the last couple seconds of the game. Win or Lose, the WHOLE team goes home or goes to the BOWL!
When you choose to be part of a team, remember to always do your best and not to let your team down. Even the best pros make mistakes, but try your hardest and win or lose, you can walk off the field holding your head high! In today’s turmoil economy, team work is crucial to succeed. Work together and get those plays worked out, so there are no dropped balls, interceptions or missed field goals!
